Thank you Africa!!! – 50 Million Steps for Epilepsy / International Epilepsy Day 2022
We hosted yet another successful #50MillionStepsforEpilepsy Challenge and commemorated the International Epilepsy Day 2022. The theme for this year is ‘I LOVE SOMEONE WITH EPILEPSY’, this encourages us to embrace those living with epilepsy by showing them love, care and compassion. Through these activities we hope chapters and individuals were able to; raise awareness, improve visibility, and increase the understanding of epilepsy across Africa and beyond. 
The International Bureau for Epilepsy – Africa Region (IBE-AR) thanks everyone who participated on on the 50 millions steps for epilepsy challenge and commemorated the very important day for epilepsy in the world, International Epilepsy Day and Valentine’s Day 2022. Together we will indeed ‘MAKE EPILEPSY A HEALTH PRIORITY IN AFRICA‘.
